Tarai Seed Company delivers orders across India. Our normal delivery method is intended to be India Post, which offers dependable service to most pin codes in the country. Where faster delivery is available and requested, it may be offered at an additional charge, and any extra conditions attached to an express service will be communicated to you before you pay.
How shipping charges are calculated
Shipping charges depend on three factors: the delivery destination, the size of the order, and the weight of the parcels. Because seed orders vary widely — from a few pouches to bulk bags for field sowing — charges are calculated individually for each order rather than at a flat rate.
Your applicable shipping charge is always confirmed with you before any payment is taken. No shipping amount is ever added silently or charged without your confirmation.
Payment and confirmation
Payment is online only; we do not offer cash on delivery. Orders are initiated through WhatsApp, where our team confirms product availability, quantities, shipping charges, and the final amount with you before payment.
A receipt or bill is issued only after your payment has been verified by our team. Until then, an order remains an enquiry in progress, and you will be kept informed at each step.
Dispatch and tracking
When your parcel is dispatched, we share the dispatch confirmation with you. For India Post and courier shipments, a tracking number is provided when available so you can follow the parcel with the carrier.
